CAD Designer

Position Status: Full-Time

Position Summary

Execute and support designs for ongoing projects. Ideal candidate should have 3-5 years' experience with Solidworks, be creative, eager to take on challenges, and have strong technical, organizational, and communication skills. Education

Associates degree in Computer Aided Design (CAD) discipline, or equivalent on the job experience.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of progressive CAD Design experience in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.

  • Software - Proficient with Solidworks, Solidworks Routing (CSWP preferred, but not required).

  • Experience designing pressure vessels and piping per ASME Sect. VIII Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and ASME B31.3 (Not Required) (Compress experience a plus)

  • Oil & Gas experience is a plus.

Requirements

  • Create design documents and drawings for mechanical, structural and piping systems on skid mounted integrated systems.

  • Assist in maintaining parts and assembly models in libraries.

  • Create P & ID's and electrical schematics.

  • Support other departments when necessary.

  • Must be able to use supplied drafting hardware and software proficiently.

Training

  • No training is required but accredited SolidWorks training courses are preferred
